TRACKS

Tracks translates the desire for a piece of furniture with several faces. A bench which would accommodate other seats, other possibilities, other scenarios… But very discreetly, free of all vain attempt for any kind of decorative effect. The apparent order would than only ask to be questioned at the whim takes of time and use : the bench would become an occasional table, the two stools would, in turn, become a small bench, and so on.
At this functional stake is here added an important formal research, incarnated by the imbrication of walnut (seat) and travertine (legs). Each of the three elements (bench and stools) has its own writing, its own rhythm, its own signage. And it is what makes this piece as lively as highly sculptural.
